Pereveslo offers community-based music and cultural programs that bring people together across ages, backgrounds, and newcomer journeys.
Through shared singing and creativity, our programs help families grow closer, children grow braver, and adults rediscover confidence and belonging.
We support newcomer integration, youth development, and mental well-being — while preserving and celebrating the richness of Ukrainian cultural heritage in Calgary.
Each of our initiatives strengthens community connection, builds meaningful relationships and creates spaces where culture becomes a source of healing, joy, and unity.

Where music creates belonging
The Pereveslo Community Choir is an inclusive ensemble that brings together adults of all backgrounds to sing, grow, and connect through the shared joy of collective music-making.
What We Do

Who It’s For
Adults with any level of musical experience - from beginners to trained singers.
No auditions required; everyone is welcome.
Pereveslo Kids
A children’s choir program that nurtures musicality, creativity, and confidence in young singers. Through engaging rehearsals and age-appropriate music education, children develop rhythm, melody, vocal skills, and artistic expression — all while staying connected to Ukrainian cultural roots.
Our program helps children:
